Analysis of Job Creation Impacts of PlaNYC 2030 - Prepared on behalf of the New York City
Economic Development Corporation and the Mayor's Office of Long-Term Planning
and Sustainability, this economic impact study screened 127 separate
initiatives and analyzed the construction and permanent operations job creation
impacts for several categories Land
(housing, open space and brownfields), Water (water quality and water supply
networks), Transportation, Air Quality, Energy and Climate change.
Green Collar Job Demand Study
- The DC Office of Planning, in conjunction with the Washington DC
Economic Partnership and the DC Department of Employment Services, sought to
undertake a green collar job demand study The purpose of the green collar jobs
analysis was twofold: 1) to estimate the number of potential green collar job
opportunities generated from District government green policies or laws from
2009 through 2018, and 2) to identify barriers, opportunities and best
practices from around the country.
Economic Impact of Retail Trade, former World Trade Center Site - The Real Estate Department of
the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) requested a regional
economic impact assessment of the construction and operations of retail trade
facilities at the former World
Trade Center
site. The study was prepared in support
of a public relations package and press release issued along with a statement
by the New York State Governor's office regarding progress and plans for the
redevelopment of the World
Trade Center
site.
